In case you didn't believe my earlier post when I mentioned my friends becoming lost on the West Glacier Trail, here is a news article we found today! A few people also mentioned that they heard the story over the radio! Unfortunately, their dear friend who waited at the trailhead for over five hours for their safe return, was not mentioned..
So, I apologize about my hasty post earlier. I read over 100 pages today and finally finished "A Long Trek Home", and I highly recommend that all of you buy it and read it! It's about a couple that hike, ski or pack raft from Seattle, WA to the first Aleutian Island, AK. Their journey lasted over a year and they traveled over 4,000 miles, all without any motorized transport. My other homework consists of reading a chapter and a half, studying for my Earth and Environment midterm on Friday, as well as, completing my lab report. And on top of everything my Sport, Leisure and Culture professor thoroughly enjoys assigning us loads of reading to complete in two days. So, the next few days will be pretty hectic. Thankfully, with my much needed study break tonight I went to Emma's for dinner and she made a wonderful spaghetti dinner with homemade pasta sauce and bruschetta. It was wonderful!
I will say that I have completed writing my letters to everyone and hope to mail them out tomorrow morning! If Anah or any of my Aunts have any more Transformation cards, as you can see in a photo below, I am starting to create a mural above my bed and I would love to add on to it!
I'd also like to mention that my window has become a new access point in and out of my room/apartment. A few days ago it was used as an escape route by humans during the Humans vs Zombies tournament, and earlier tonight Cody decided to finally take advantage of the shorter route to my room. I will try to get a photo of my window being put to good use later on!
Kristina I hope you had a great time at Flux, I hope to see a few photos soon.

First, the bruschetta looks fabulous... second, I didn't know they had Zombies in Alaska - do they affect the Northern Lights??? Thirdly, are you going to shovel out your window well when it fills up with snow??? Good luck on the midterm - Love Mumox...
ReplyDeleteHumans vs Zombies is played all across the country..it has nothing to do with the Northern Lights. And I'm pretty sure the warmth of my window will melt the snow..but if it doesn't, then yes, I'll shovel it out for Cody's benefit. Or..I'll make Cody shovel it!
