from the depths of the mendenhall..

I have survived and I come crawling from the depths of the Mendenhall to deliver a message..I am officially a Swiftwater Rescue Technician! I'm not entirely sure what that means, other than now I know multiple ways of rescuing an individual from the river. However, after taking this class, I'm not entirely sure I'll be spending too much time around any fast moving water. I understand that it is important to know these skills and techniques in order to protect yourself and to protect others, but this class is also a really great way of scaring people from even attempting to go near water!

I've started receiving a few letters from back home, and they are all greatly appreciated and I will be replying back to you by tomorrow at the latest! You don't understand how good it feels to hold something from back home, or to be reminded of the east coast. Did you know that no one knows about Hannford's over here?! Well anyways, please continue to write to me and I will continue to write back as soon as possible.

I look forward to hearing from all of you either via letter, text, or simply commenting on this post.

Here is my address again in case you forgot it!
